Scarification, 24x18", mixed media collage on canvas, 2010Please let me know your opinion on which way you think this piece should be oriented. Horizontal (top version) or vertical (bottom version).
Now to finish its companion piece, which may or may not "go" with it.
Beautiful! I was surprised to read that it's 18" x 24" -- it has the presence of a much larger piece. Of course it looks great either way -- I tend toward the horizontal which feels more stable to me, but others may prefer the more active vertical.

ReplyDeleteOverall, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. But about 1/2way through,I got a little disappointed that I hadn't used a larger canvas to start with. Guess there's always next time!
