Farm implements auction that is. We have to make our own fun out here in the country.

And fun it was!

Just imagine pouring and splattering paint all over the place through these babies.

Or making a sculpture out of these...

Or lining these up in a row (I already have some on my porch).

How about distressing some fabric on this, that's what they do to jeans to get that beautiful grungy look.

This could make a great garden sculpture. Or you could grind down some more fabric.

And this paint job makes a wabi sabi aficionado go weak in the knees.
THIS ISN'T FAIR....THIS ISN'T FAIR....

I didn't get ANYTHING Paula--couldn't go up against farmers for this stuff. So it's just the photos... I really wanted those cogs but wasn't going to stay all day waiting for them to come up.
ReplyDeleteKim, your collections look pretty inspired, made me realize I better get collecting!
Oh my! What riches!
ReplyDeleteRose McG
Don, yes very droolworthy. Now I wish I got those screens...
ReplyDeleteRose, who knew farms were hiding such riches?
Hmmmm what I would do with some of those. The screens? (2nd photo) would be wonderful for paper making.
ReplyDeleteArtPropelled, I didn't even think of papermaking, which would have been a perfect use.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention these were part of some huge machine that you had to buy along with the screens?!
